Good Shepherd Para Vista

After PlayQuip (trading as ForPark SA) successfully completed a well received project for their year 3 and 4 students, Good Shepherd Lutheran School (Para Vista) returned to request another play space.  Upon receipt of the potential plans our expert team determined some compliance and installation difficulties. These plans were then utilised as a base guide to explore the play space, ensuring the new designs were both fun and compliant, leading to safer play.

Working closely with the Landscaper (Indulge Outdoors), PlayQuip worked in three stages, keeping play areas open while another was being worked on. This kept some play areas open while others were being worked on, limiting disruption to students playing and outdoor learning.

A natural style colour scheme was carefully selected to blend with the attractive landscaping works and select Australian Ironbark timber play pieces like the Timber TeePee.

To protect students from the harsh Australian sun and prolong safer play time, a shade was installed over the new Australia Ironbark Log Multibay Swing. Shade prolongs the timeline of the product as harsh UV rays can cause sun damage to play items as well as damaging our children’s precious skin. The shade colour and style matches existing shade already on site, ensuring a consistent and harmonious look.
